We sit in the room,
ask the better question.

Corvairo is small consulting and coaching practice for founders, executive and operating teams. We dont's sell frameworks or decks. we stay long enough to see the answer through - and we measure our work by whether the leader across from us is steadier a year from now.

origin
A decade of quiet, patient work.
Corvairo started in a borrowed meeting room in 2016 with one founder and one question worth answering. It's grown slowly, on purpose. Here are the markers along the way.
2016
One founder, one client, one question.
Jessi leaves a COO role to coach a single founder through a difficult fundraise. Six months later, three more founders ask if she'll do the same for them. Corvairo, named after the side street the first office sat on, is registered.

2019
Strategy joins the practice.
Jhon comes on as Strategy Partner after a decade in B2B SaaS and a stint at McKinsey. We make a quiet decision: coaching and consulting will sit under one roof, because we've never seen one work well without the other.
2020
The hardest year we'll likely ever have.
Most of our engagements move to crisis mode. We learn, slowly, painfully, what it means to be in the room when there are no good options, only less-bad ones. The work we do today is shaped almost entirely by what that year taught us.

2024
Bali, Indonesia desk; team of four.
Ethan and sophia join. We open a small desk in Singapore to be closer to a handful of regional engagements. The bench stops at four — that's the size at which we can still all read the same memo and disagree about it well.
2026
240 leaders, and still counting carefully.
Nine years in. We've worked with 240 executives and 38 companies. We've turned down roughly twice that. The discipline of saying no — to engagements that aren't right, to growth that would compromise the work — is most of what keeps the practice intact.

How we work
Four principles,
quietly enforced.
These aren't aspirations. They're the operating rules of the practice — the things we'll walk away from a fee for. If any of them sound at odds with what you're looking for, we're probably not the right people.
01
Two of us in every room.
Every engagement gets two practitioners — usually a coach and a strategy partner. One holds the company, one holds the person. Neither carries the engagement alone. It costs us margin; it saves the client from our blind spots.
02
We say no as often as yes.
We turn down engagements where the fit feels off, the timing is wrong, or the leader isn't ready to be coachable. We'd rather send you to a peer who's the better match than collect a fee for work we can't do well.
03
Confidentiality, by default.
Every engagement gets two practitioners — usually a coach and a strategy partner. One holds the company, one holds the person. Neither carries the engagement alone. It costs us margin; it saves the client from our blind spots.
04
Honest about fit, often.
Engagements have an exit point at three months and again at six. Either side can walk, no fee penalty. We'd rather end a relationship that isn't serving the work than drag it through to a contract end date neither of us believes in.
By the numbers
A small practice, counted carefully.
Small by design, selective by principle — allowing us to stay deeply involved in every challenge, conversation, and outcome.

Start the conversation
The work begins with a single question.
A 30-minute call. No pitch, no panel. Just a conversation about what you're navigating — and whether we're the right people to help you through it.
